Position Summary
This Community Health Outreach Associate will be a part-time position tasked to work with the Child Health Outreach & Enrollment team in East Texas. This person will assist in activities to enroll uninsured children in health coverage through the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Children’s Medicaid. They will assist with coordinating community-level, regional and school-based outreach and application assistance drives and events. This position will work closely with community, school, business, and health partners to reduce the number of uninsured children in Texas. This position reports to the East Texas Health Outreach Program Director.

Type of work environment associated with the job - Indoor office setting and outdoor community events, some local travel. Flexible schedule up of 20 - 25 hours per week expected. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
