Job Title:  WNBA Partnerships Fellow
 

Job Summary:

The WNBA is looking for a Partnerships fellow to assist in managing relationships with existing corporate partners and developing new business through building strategic partnerships.The Partnerships fellow will be responsible for supporting the sales team with prospect outreach, daily communications, conducting industry research, coordinate partner hospitality, day-to-day business operations and overseeing admin duties of the Partnerships team. The Partnerships fellow will need to be highly organized, professional, team-focused, passionate, collaborative, positive and be able to think on their feet.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the fulfillment of partners' full sponsorship portfolios across NBA, WNBA, and/or USA Basketball properties
  • Manage day-to-day partner activation processes including activation planning and approvals, promotional development, media planning, financials, advertising creation and approval, event coordination and results tracking which will require collaboration across multiple departments
  • Build effective working relationships and strong consensus with key NBA constituencies and partner/agency contacts
  • Oversee partner’s deliverables timeline and ensure deadlines are being met
  • Manage the creative approval process with the partner
  • Responsible for activation approvals, logistics, & on-site execution
  • Serve as the point of contact for all hospitality elements
  • Assist in developing customized event recaps

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to balance quality and speed, professional presence, familiarity and understanding of the WNBA league is a plus

  • Dew: Associate Partner of All-Star
  • Google: Presenting Partner of Playoffs
  • YouTube TV: Presenting Partner of Finals

To participate in the HBCU Fellowship Program, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including having received a booster when eligible. Accordingly, your participation in the Program will be contingent upon the submission of verification, in a form required by the Program, evidencing that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, meaning for these purposes that you have completed the two dose regimen of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or the single dose regimen of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and have received a booster when eligible.
